This course provides experienced portlet application developers with engaging lectures and hands-on labs to immerse themselves in the new features available in WebSphere Portal V7.0. You will learn how to migrate a WebSphere Portal V6.1 theme to the new version 7.0 theme architecture using Client Side Aggregation (CSA2), develop an iWidget, and develop a custom user interface for tagging and rating. The second half of this course will equip you to efficiently develop, test and use Dojo and AJAX for WebSphere Portal V7. You will also learn the usage of desktop tools to edit portal pages including WebDAV, updated security capabilities and the Unified Task List portlet.
